Which ferry do I catch and how do I get tickets?

Please catch the 10:45am Ward Island Ferry from Jake Layton Ferry Terminal.

Note: Some guests have been asked to take the 9:45am ferry.

Be sure to catch the WARD ISLAND FERRY. Not the ones for Centre Island or Hanlans Point.

Get your tickets in advance, you can actually BUY THEM ONLINE through the City of Toronto Website, more information can be found HERE. Buying online is a good idea for a couple of reasons, but the main one would be to skip the, often long, line at the terminal. The line-up you will find at the terminal is only to buy tickets. If you buy in advance - walk to the left, in front of the hotel, to get passed the ticket gates. Then present your ticket at the entrance to the ferry terminal behind the ticketing gates.

Tickets are $7.50 (or $5 for Students/Seniors or $3.65 for kids 2 to 14). You only need a ticket to take a ferry over to the island. The ferry is free on your return trip. If you are coming in a large group, consider buying your tickets in bulk. Ferry tickets are sold at a 10% discount in sets of 10.

Any one who identified having mobility concerns will get an email detailing how to meet up with Sue Marsh-Woods to take the Group Water Taxi to the venue.
